RefME is an Android app developed by RefME (RefME Ltd, Unit 1 New North House, Canonbury Business Centre, 202-208 New North Road, London N1 7BJ).

RefME first became available on 25 Mar 2014. It is estimated that RefME has been downloaded between 100000 and 500000 times from the Play Store.

RefME 4.5.4 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
